St. Patrick's Day in Savannah
Here's wishing everyone a happy St. Patrick's Day in and outside of Savannah. If you're not from here and don't know, we pretty much go crazy on St. Patrick's day. 400,000 people show up who don't already live here and proceed to turn downtown Savannah into a mix between Macy's Day and Mardi Gras for several days in a row.
What does this have to do with web design? Absolutely nothing :) I stay away from downtown because I want to avoid the traffic and I'm boring. Plus, a slow day when the phones don't ring very much gives us a chance to catch up on some housekeeping work.
So if you're in downtown Savannah today, be safe and have fun. And if you're in the other 99% of the world that doesn't shut down for St. Patrick's Day, you should come to Savannah next year to check things out.

 Savannah's CW Network started out looking for a web firm to simply maintain their old site. Once they met with Systems Connect, however, and saw what we were capable of, they decided to let us build a new site from scratch. Integrating several RSS feeds and ad management system, WGSA.tv now has the interactive features to set them apart from their competition. Plus we've integrated and embedded several videos to add to the visual features. And on top of just linking to their Social Networking pages, we've integrated Twitter so that all of the newest blog posts on their site go straight to their Twitter page to let people know. |
